Greetings! I hope that everyone had a safe and happy new year!
Our February meeting is approaching fast! As vice-president, I am tasked with creating the programs for each month’s meeting. For February (since I wasn’t able to get anyone else!), you are getting me!
I will be giving a presentation on the Brioche stitch. I was introduced to this stitch by erindee5575 when I was gifted with a brioche stitch neckwarmer that she had made. It is beautiful…and there hasn’t been one place that I have worn it that I haven’t received a comment on it.
So come join us for some fun. As far as supplies needed for this meeting, bring a pair of size 6 needles (straights or circular) and some leftover worsted weight yarn. Don’t sweat the supplies. If you don’t have worsted weight, DK will work. If you don’t have a size 6 needle, bring a 7 or a 5. Easy peasy. I promise the knitting police will not be at this meeting!
The meeting will be on the second floor of Sycamore Hospital on the first Wednesday of February which I believe to be February 6. We will start at 7:00.
