November 3, 2015: Say “Cheese”!

Are you frustrated that your knitwear photos come out dark, shadowed, or just plain unattractive? Would you rather spend your hard-earned money on more fiber rather than expensive photography equipment or services? Join us on Tuesday, November 3rd when photographer Dan Borzynski shows us how to get professional-looking photos using your regular camera and some simple household objects. Dan will demonstrate how to make lighting work for you, stage objects for visual appeal, and overcome the hurdles of working with color and texture in the decreasing available daylight.

Dan Borzynski is a fifteen-year nature photographer, specializing in macro and landscape photography. He is the current President of the Focus Camera Club in Dayton, OH, and an active member of the Tripod Camera Club. His work has been published in over 35 countries and occasionally even in the United States (Science and Birds and Blooms), and displayed at the Buffalo Museum of Science. When he’s not crunching through leaves in the woods, Dan crunches numbers for Speedway LLC in Enon, OH. Dan lives in Fairborn, OH, with his abacus and a small army of evil rubber ducks.
