Our September meeting is only two weeks from tomorrow!! Where did the summer go?
The September meeting is going to cover a lot of territory. September is the beginning of the membership year. Dues will be paid ($15.00 annually), the nominating committee will present the slate of candidates and hopefully elections will take place.
Since it is the beginning of our membership year, bring a friend!
The program for the evening will be Socks! I know that many of the members are expert sock knitters, and I have contact a few of them so that we can get a panel experts! If you are a sock knitter, bring a pair of socks that you have knit. I will bring several books of sock knitting.
You will find us on Saturdays at Saxby’s Coffee on the corner of Irving and Oakwood (across the street from the Pine Clue and Ben and Jerry’s)
come and be with us from 1 to 4pm
We will begin earlier today with a picnic beginning at 5pm in the shelter at Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene. Bring a dish to share and a lawn chair; your knitting and charity projects that you have or will compete. Our business meeting will commence at 7pm as usual (especially for those of you who are not planning on coming for the picnic).
In the event of rain — just come at 7pm to our regular room (the Fireside Room) in the main church. We can still knit and show and tell in our normal space.
Hope to see you there!
